Yes, we have a unique indoor/outdoor playground and a swimming pool located directly on-site at the center. The playground equipment is designed to be suitable for children ranging from infants to Kindergarten Prep, allowing children of all ages to enjoy outdoor play every day.

We are closed during holiday seasons and take 10 to 15 days off for vacations, including sick and emergency leave. However, these closures are communicated to all parents in advance. Yes! Our daycare offers a full-day preschool program for children from a few months old and up. Preschool is an important year, and we’ve designed our program to provide you with complete confidence in every aspect of your child’s experience, from health and safety to a ready-for-school curriculum. Just as importantly, our program is based on research that shows the best ways to prepare children for kindergarten and all the big steps ahead.

At Mrs. Helane’s Learn & Playcare, located in Yuba City, California, we follow strict state and county regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in our care. We conduct a thorough background check on all prospective parents and frequent visitors. This includes a county criminal record check for the past seven years in all counties where an individual has lived, worked. Additionally, we perform a sex offender search, OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) search, and a social security verification trace. As required by the state of California and Sutter County.

The decision to allow pictures of a child to be taken at our daycare facility is at the discretion of the family. Some families permit photos to be used within the daycare, including on our Facebook page and website, while others prefer not to have any pictures of their children taken or shared on the daycare page. No exceptions will be made. We fully respect your rights and your decision.
